What We Learned from Miley's Latest Cover Story
Miley Cyrus wants to raise our vibrations, and I fully consent.
For me, there can never be an oversaturation of Miley Cyrus. I’m listening to Plastic Hearts while writing this, just to set the scene.
When I woke up on Wednesday and opened Instagram for my morning scroll, her latest Harper’s BAZAAR cover was staring me in the face. A blessing!
Miley always shines in photos, but these are seriously stunning. She’s so agile - can wear anything, can pose anywhere. I love the softness of some of these shots, and the contrast in others. The many feathers, her tattoos, the eye makeup, the tights, the golden aesthetic…it’ll be burned in my brain for a while, no doubt.
Now for the actual content of the story!
New Album Confirmation
The most important takeaway from this story is confirmation of her next album! It’s been over a year since the release of Endless Summer Vacation, and the four songs she’s put out since then aren’t enough to sustain me.
Currently, the title track is “Something Beautiful”
She’s been in the studio working on this for the last seven months
Core pieces of inspiration are Mugler’s 1995 couture show, horror movie Mandy with Nicolas Cage, Pink Floyd’s The Wall
We’ll get visuals!!!
“Hypnotizing and glamorous” is how Miley describes the album
She wants to HEAL US, “I would like to be a human psychedelic for people…I want to impact frequencies in your body that make you vibrate at a different level.”
Collaborating with music producer Shawn Everett (Kacey Musgraves, The Killers, The War on Drugs, Alabama Shakes)
Miley’s boyfriend Maxx Morando is also producing!

This piece was a great start to the promo - Miley’s team is so strategic, I love to watch what they do. There’s so much momentum leading up to this next project. Her Grammy win, her collaboration with Beyonce, her work with Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana, her Disney Legend status! I’m so ready!!!!
Until next time, xoxo!
